Cozy converted stables with historical charm.

Everything was first-class, convenient location adjacent to the restuarant and green fields, efficient staff. It was important to get wheelchair accessible room with all the main drinking and that went well. Romantic double room, the service was very good. Could use their good parking.

We met outstandingly accommodating and immensely pleasant employees.

We stayed 2 nights and it was an excellent fit.

Had a comfy room overall, but that bleach smell was a bit rough, eh? The safety light above the door was bright as hell at night!

I had a grand stay, really enjoyed the cozy sitting area and all the free Wi-Fi in the room. But sure, that safety light above the door shone so bright all night, it was a bit of a nuisance! Still, I’d consider coming back.

We soaked in the charm at the local lakes, especially enjoying water activities at the Reading Sailing Club. The hotel's bar/lounge was perfect for winding down. Free Wi-Fi kept us connected, and breakfast had some tasty choices to kickstart our days. The vibe was cozy.

One downside was the payment process. It took a while for transactions to finalize. It could be a bit frustrating when you're eager to get out and explore.

It seemed the staff felt inconvenience when attending to breakfast service, disappointing. I found it frustrating that my room fee went into pending for days. And oh, the bed! It sank in the middle, which affected my sleep quality. I also noticed some charming décor throughout the premises, but a few parts of the room, like the lamps and towel rail, could use some attention for maintenance. All in all, the experience had its highlights and challenges.

The ambiance is steeped in history with a charming 16th-century pub vibe that gives off a cozy, inviting feel. Breakfast is a standout, with delicious options that make for a great start to the day.
